Audiovisual works transit different stages before finally reaching the screen.
Prior to becoming a series or a film, storylines, treatments and scripts are materials by themselves and they are and will be read by several people down the line. It could be a potential co-producer, an investor or a buyer, or maybe a jury member for a contest or lab.
In addition to being cohesive, these contents must capture the reader’s attention, move them, get them engaged. The images forming in their heads will be the result of the words written on paper.
SAGA’s main goal is to ensure that those reading a translation go through the same experience than those reading the original material; language should not come across as a barrier.
Our longtime expertise in audiovisual translation is enhanced by our first-hand knowledge of the screenwriting language and a clear understanding of the different audiovisual styles, genres and formats.
